As part of the process characterization laboratory I organize the experiment Dynamical Bilances. Main topics are models of dynamic systems, model predictive control , simulation and soft-sensors.

Since summer term 2007 I organize the laboratory "Prozessleittechnik". At this laboratory students should get a feeling for a concrete process control system. They should learn the several steps of a plant life cycle:

• Plant Layout,
• Plant Simulation
• Open-Loop Control,
• Closed-Loop Control,
• Commissioning and Decommissioning

They have the possibility to test their knowledge on several process control systems including Emerson DeltaV, Siemens, Invensys Foxboro.

In summer term 2007 I started to assist Prof. Dr.-Ing. Epple at the course "Modell der Leittechnik".

Together with Heiko Mantel I organized this seminar in winter term 06/07. It covered advanced topics related to formal methods for Information Security such as:
